It’s the offseason

Right now, my main focus is still taking it easy. Letting the chest and ribs recover as much as possible. I think it’s happening. Did a lot of mtb riding around the local last week, and that has been the extent of my training at the moment. Got snow up here in Blue River, and I have a feeling that it’s going to stay. I think that means no more mtb riding around here. I have been wanting to get out to Moab, so that will have to be the rest of my mtb riding for the year.

In other news, I am as hopeful as I have ever been on the job front in a long time. Flying to Los Angeles tomorrow to interview for a job that I think I can be very effective at. I’m still waiting on the job decision from the firm in Arvada. Then, today, I got a call from a recruiter who is pushing hard for me to work for Toshiba and who I have been in touch with recently. We’ll see. It could be like sitting on three fastballs, but you miss on all 3. I’ve been hopeful before and ended up disappointed.
